Organization:
1. 30 x 30 area split into two, setup as shown
2. 12 players (3 Attackers & 3 Defenders x 4)
3. 4 Mini Goals setup as shown
4. 1 Ball (additional on outside)
Instructions:
1. Teams play 3v3 across two fields
2. Attacking team start with ball & enter area - aim to score in Mini Goals at opposite end
3. Attacking players can move anywhere across both field
4. Defending teams are numbered 1-3. 1 & 3 have to stay on their field while central Defender can move between fields to assist wide Defenders.
5. If Defending team win the ball they aim to score at opposite end
6. Play until a goal is scored or ball goes out. After set time rotate Attackers & Defenders
Coaching Points:
1. Pressure - close down the space & deny penertration
2. Angle of approach & Body Shape - try to dictate the play one way
3. Communication - coach eachother
4. Responsitilies of positions - Pressure (1st Defender), Cover (2nd Defender) & Balance (3rd Defender)
5. Move as a Unit - travel as the ball travels
6. Focus & Patience - wait for the right time to win the ball
Progression:
P1 Allow defensive players to move freely across the space

2. 12 players (3 Attackers, 3 Defenders x 2)
3. 4 Goals set up as shown
4. 1 Ball (additional on outside)
Instructions:
1. Teams play 3v3 game inside the field
2. For goals on the outside are numbered 1-4
3. One team attacks goals 1&2 while the other attacks 3&4
4. Teams must react quickly to loss of possession & trytowin ball back as soon as possible
5. Rotate players after 3 goals have been scored

2. Angle of approach & Body Shape - try to dictate the play one way

Introduction (10 mins)
Organization:
1. 15 x 15area set up as shown
2. 6 players (4 Attackers & 2 Defenders)
3. 1 Ball (additional on outside)
Instructions:
1. Attackers set up around outside of the area - 1 Attacker per side
2. Two Defenders working inside the middle of area
3. Attackers aim to keep possession (2 touch) & can move up & down their line to support each other
4. Defenders must try to work as a team to pressure & offer Cover/Support - force a mistake
5. After set time rotate players
Coaching Points:
1. Angle of approach
2. Communication - coach each other
3. Interchanging of positions - Pressure (1st Defender) & Cover/Support 2nd Defender
4. Body Shape - try to dictate the play one way
Progressions:
P - if Attackers make 6 passes they score a point. Defenders score points if they force mistake
P - Add target ball in middle of area (see pic) Defender must block shots/passes but are not allowed inside the diamond...Attackers still score point for every 6 passes)
P - Defender that forces the mistake or wins ball swtiches out with Attacker
