SET UP - 20 yard square. 4 groups, 1 ball
ACtION: Pass to the group on your right , run to the left. Now the player opposite the receiving player presses to try and win the ball
FOCUS: Weight of pass, first touch to beat the press, pass and move (empty the space) - ALSO DEFENSIVELY: Pressing triggers, angle of the press (can they press to prevent the next pass?)
---
PROGRESSION: Receiving player can now pass to either left or right (runs to opposite side) - this means the press has to be smarter - which foot are you pressing - are you reading the first touch, the delivery of the pass?
If a presser wins the ball they can score into the goals. The dispossessed group get another ball and start the drill again.
