Screen 1 (30 mins)

Set up a grid of 10x10 or 15x15 squares.

In each square, a 1v1 situation takes place for 60 seconds with passive pressure. The attacking players remain constantly engaged, utlizing body feints and footwork to unsettle and move past the defender until the time period has expired.

Switch roles and repeat. Rest briefly and complete several more cycles before moving on to active pressure.

Coaching points:

-Emphasize attacking attitude, creativity and not dwelling on mistakes

-Encourage defender to work on observing the ball and improving footwork, as pursuit of ball is not allowed (helps to learn not to dive in.)
