Organization:
Triangle set-up 15 yards from target.
Players split up in half.
Two stations running simultaneously.
Each player with a ball.
(Refer to diagram)
Instructions:
1. Player drives toward center cone of triangle, takes a touch left or right and shots at goal.
2. Progression - player must perform a move prior to taking a touch out of the triangle.
3. Competition: First player to ten points wins (Points scored for every successful shot that goes in the goal)
Coaching Points:
1. Angle of approach.
2. Shoulders over the ball.
3. Contact with the laces.
4. Knee over the ball at contact.
5. Placement of non kicking foot.
6. Contact 2nd knuckle of big toe.
7. Follow through.
Progressions:
"Jack in the Box"
1. Number kids 1-4
2. Number 1 stands behind the goal (jack in the box)
3. Numbers 2-4 have to shoot their soccer balls one at a time into the goal. If they make it in then they sit behind the goal. If they miss, they get their ball and try again.
4. Once all 3 players score, the jack dribbles out from behind the goal and has to shoot their ball in. Game ends when all are sitting behind the goal. Then number 2 becomes the Jack.

Organization:
Players in pairs (ball / player)
Both players begin in gate, one standing behind the other as shown facing the goal.
Instructions:
1. Player A (yellow) passes the ball through Player B's legs.
2. Player B turns and drives at goal for a breakaway.
3. As soon as Player B shoots, he becomes a defender and Player A tries to score against Player B.
4. Next group begins
5. Both players retrieve a ball and return to line.
Coaching Points:
1. Finishing early gives you a better chance to defend.
2. Finishing closer gives you a better chance to score 1v1 to goal.
3. Technique of 1v1 w/ pressure in front.
4. Recognition of pressure and goalkeeper's position (size and angle of touch to get in behind or open up a shooting lane)
5. Quality of strike (angle of approach, foot / ball contact point, proper follow through depending on technique, etc.)

3v3 / 4v4 Small-sided tournament games.
4 teams of 3-4 players each team.
2 Goals on opposite endlines.
Instructions:
4 Teams of 3
Play 3v3 tournament style format where each team will play one another.
Look to combine groups if possible.

Review of session's learning outcomes being translated into the game.
