ORGANIZATION & CONDITIONS:
Defending team must be in 2 of the 3 zones.
Must play through central cones
Block 1: Defensive Shape (compact)
Block 2: Attacking Shape
Block 3: Half space / Weakside
Block 4: Disguise / attract pressure

Red team formation: 1-3-3. Blue team formation: GK-4-3
TIME: 20 Minutes. Ratio: 4-5 minutes / 1 minute (x4)
ORGANIZATION & CONDITIONS:
Ball starts with red team when goes out.
1pt per goal (mini or large goal)
Players can score in mini goals from anywhere.
Players can only score in large goal once beyond offside line.
Players cannot cross the offside line until ball breaks line. (forces defensive to stay high).
PROGRESSION:
Remove mini goals for red team (Red only attack large goal).
Blocks of work:
Block 1: Defensive Shape (compact)

1. Defending team must shift quickly as ball moves (reduce spaces between players / prevent passing lanes).
2. Defending team must be compact (reduce space between lines).

1. How do we force opposition to shift in order to create free half spaces? (#7/#11 - look to receive with open hips / looks to score in mini goal down line early - force opposition back line to shift).
2. How can we attract press (Pass or dribble to attract)
3. How do we combine to find players in half space.

Band Progressions: Side steps x 10 each way / Back pedal / forward kicks x 10 / backward kicks x 10 (repeat with other leg) / Monster walk / Fire hydrant x 10 / Squat jumps x 10.
