Passing (10 mins)

Organization: Cones as shown mirrored on either half of the field.

Duration: 10 minutes prior to game

Instructions:

Warm up U5/6- Set cones up as shown. Show all the players how to do toe taps and tic tocs. Line up players. Player does 5 toe taps then dribbles around the 2 cones and passes to the player at the other cone. Player follows their pass and the other player finishes on goal and returns to the line with the ball. Alternate between tic tcs and toe taps times.

Warm up 7/8- Same as above with a keeper

Toe Taps -The player starts by doing the "soccer pose" and then switches feet. As they get comfortable they can speed up switching feet to the ball.

Tic Tocs - the player taps the ball back and forth between their feet (using the inside of the foot), try to reamin in one spot while doing it.
