3-4-1 vs 1-4-4
Set up:
Instructions:
7v4 with a focus of playing out and switching play.
The ball will start with the keeper and act as a goal kick for the blues. The aim of the practice is to play out and progress upwards on the pitch, by switching the play, pulling the opposition out to create gaps and spaces.
The wingers/wing backs will be locked into the wide channels to start off with to enforce the importance of staying wide to force the opposition to make a decision.
The blues are looking to switch the play before they can score by getting the ball into the wide attackers (mini-goals). If the yellows win the ball, they will try to score within 7 seconds.
The players will work for 6x5 minutes. Keepers will rotate between every play.
