Player starts mmediately behind the mannequin / cone. He / she initiates the drill by moving back away to receive the pass from the coach. First and second touch (if needed) takes the player between the mannequins / cones into the box for a finish on goal. The player immediately moves back through the two obstacles and around the furthest one from the coach to move into the box for a first time finish on goal from a second pass from the coach. After the second shot the player goes in goal and the keeper goes to the back of the line.
To progress the drill the coach should change sides to ensure balls are delivered from both sides and also encourage players to shoot with both feet.

Two teams lined up either side of the goal as shown. 1 player from each team starts by the far cone on the edge of the box. Team that starts - player moves away from cone to receive pass from their team mate. Their 1st touch should aim to take the ball into 'D' and the 2nd touch should be a shot at goal. If extra touches are needed then allow it, especially with the younger age groups. After the shot the attacker should go in goal and the goalkeeper joins their line of players to continue the drill from the other side. The pink team shoot right foot and the blue team shoot left foot. After a set time period switch sides.
Progress to a competition - goals are only counted if the player has two touches in total - 1 to control and 1 to shoot from the 'D'.

Two teams play a regular directional game but with NO goalkeepers. Coach has a supply of balls to pass into any player quickly to keep the game flowing. Either team can score from anywhere on the pitch with a 1st time finish. As soon as the ball goes dead, either by going in the goal or going out of play the coach plays another ball in to any player. Each ball is used ONCE and when all the balls have been used ONCE the team scoring ther most goals is the winner.
Encourage quick play, early shots and on the flip side pressure the ball when defending to stop the shots. Can progress to only scoring from inside the opponents half or final third of the pitch to encourage quick, accurate build up of play.

Moving rondos (15 mins)
Moving rondos - two small squares of 7x7 with 2 players in the middle and 5 placed round the outside as shown. Players in the first square make minimum of 3 passes then transfer the ball to the second square via the player on the centre line. The two wide players move up to the second square and the 2 defenders move into this square for the drill to continue. The middle player turns round and now joins in the keep ball in the second square.
If a defender touches the ball then he / she changes with the outside player giving the ball away.
