Dribbling and 1 v 1 Attacking

Organization:
Set area of approx 30x30.
Activity:
- Split the teams intor 3v3 or 2 v 2 depending on numbers. I'm going to try arrange it so two groups have 12 players and two have 10 players
- Goals are scored by shooting in the mini goal.
- Ensure defending players return to retreat line
- Kick or dribble in if and where ball goes out.
Coaching points:
- Be creative - Don't be afraid to take players on.
- Attack space if given by dribbling with "bigger" touches to allow you get away from defender
- Dribble with your head up to allow to see the field
- Maintain your shape.

Organization:
- Create One square 40 v 40
- Break Players into 3 teams of 4
Activity:
- 3 Teams - Keep Away
- Two teams will play keep away against one team
- If the team makes 4 passes they get one point. If the "Defending" team intercepts they get one point and give the ball back to the two teams.
- Each Team gets a turn at defending for 2 minutes and we will rotate it 3 times.
Coaching points:
- Take advantage of the space and dribble into it
- Movement off the ball - Make sure you're always creating passing lanes

Organization:
- Half a field of Pine Glen
- One mini goal on each side
- Two boundary lines - 8 steps from the outside
- Team with the ball has to have their outside midfielders in the boundary (Wide)
- Team without the ball has to have all their players witin the boundary (Compact)
Activity:
- Play game 5 v 5 or 4 v 4
- Goals are scored in th mini goal
- Ensure defending players return to retreat line
- Kick or dribble in if and where ball goes out.
Coaching points:
- Be creative - Don't be afraid to take players on.
- Attack space if given by dribbling with "bigger" touches to allow you get away from defender
- Dribble with your head up to allow to see the field
- Switch the play to the other net if its too bunched up.

Organization:
- 10 to 12 players on the outside; one player or the coach inside
- Players are to attempt to dribble to the other side while the defending player tries to kick the ball out of play.
- Once your ball gets kicked out of play you join the defender until there is one Winner.
- You can do it several times
Coaching points.
- Close Ball control - use inside/outside of foot to maintain control of the ball
- Play with your head up to ensure you can see the field and the other players
- Turn of speed if you identify space to attack
