Twenty Passes -

Three teams of even numbers. Two teams in the game, one team around the outside. Simple keep away with bumpers. In the example above, Green are in possession and they can pass to Green or to Red. So the game operates as an 8v4.

Scoring. First team to Twenty passes wins. They do not have to be consecutive. But only passes to the same color count. So in the example above, pass A and B will help keep possession but will not earn a point. Passes C and D will earn a point.

Bumpers are undefended so its easy to pass to them. Harder to pass to the teammates in the middle.

For each team in the middle, assign one of the bumpers count passes out loud so everyone knows the score.

Coaching Points - When in possession "Open the Game" by makeing the field big. Don't crowd the bunmpers when they get the ball. Provide short and long options. Receive ball with body open to the field whenever possible. Do not stand in the same line of support as one of the bumpers. Offer a different angle so the player in possession has more options.

Bumpers should move actively on the lines to provide good angles of support.

Variations - Limit touches for inside players and for bumpers.
