Intervals:
2 min work + 1 min rest x 6 reps = 18 min
Setup:
Two 20x30 grids with a 5x30 space between
3 teams
Activity:
2 teams in possession combine to keep the ball. Can switch to other team at any time.
Defensive team tries to win the ball and play across to other team.
If team loses possession they become the defensive team.
Scoring: Play 2 minutes and team on defense gets 1 point. Team with LOWEST point total wins after a few rounds.
Coaching Points:
~ Technical: 1st touch with opposite foot, facing the way you want to play
~ Central players on a half turn
~ Playing 2 touch as much as possible

Setup:
40x25 grid with 4 corner areas
4 teams of 4
(setup 2 grids; 8 players per grid)
Activity:
Each team tries to score in either of their goals (directional).
Players can show just outside the grid and NOT be tackled, but MUST play 2 touch max.
If facing own goals, MUST play in 1 touch.
After each interval, winners move up, loser moves down.
Progress:
+ Play 4v4 (no free zones)

~ Principles of play (targets give depth and length, midfield must provide width)
~ Opposite movement to lose marker
~ Open body position to face the way you want to play

White team in 1-4-2-1
Blue team in 2-3-3
Activity:
White team scores in pugg goals OR by having outside back dribble through wide gate.
Blue team scores in big goal.

Attacking team keeps possession and when the time is right plays into other grid (must be a pass, not on dribble, no offside though).
Defender must win ball and play to other defender to get out of defense (change both defenders with player that lost ball and player who passed them the ball)
