Two teams, both either managed by a coach or self-managed.
Game split into 10 minute periods.
Pre-game, each team is set a challenge or play style by their manager, or decide one collectively as a group.
During the first period, a regular game takes place, but with teams trying to complete their challenge or work on their play style.
After 10 minutes, stop for a team talk. Each team has one guess at their opponents challenge/style - if they guess correctly, their opponent has a forfeit, if they guess incorrectly, they do the forfeit.
Set a new challenge/style, go over any general points that need covering, and play for the next 10 minutes.
This format repeats until the end of the session.
Teams are now experimenting with different ideas and styles, it's changing frequently to retain interest and teams have to think tactically about what the other team is doing, then figure out how to stop it. Teams also have to think and work harder to keep playing once the opposition figures out their challenges.
Physical - fitness, match sharpness, lots of movement
Technical - sharpness, lots of ball rolling time, different styles and challenges
Tactical - different styles, analysing opposition, working out how to combat opposition
Social - team work, communication to complete challenge, fun
Psychological - creativity to combat opposition, resilience to overcome challenge breaking down, problem solving to combat opposition's style/challenge that is constantly changing
