3 Team possession with a Dribble - 4v1 or 5v2


-Team in possession must keep the ball/connect 5 passes in their square.

- After that, one player on the possessing team, must dribble into the middle zone to then connect a pass into the next square/team. If successful, it will equal a point. First team to 3 points wins the game. Losing team switches with defending team. 

- If defending team gets the ball while playing they can transition to score in one of the mini goals

Dribbling to Shoot 

Player A dribbles to work on a move pass the cones, after that takes a shot. Once Player A shots the ball, he becomes a defender right away. 

Player B plays player C right after Player's A shot to attack on a 2v1 situation. Player B must make a overlap or a diagonal run to create space. 

If Player A(defender) wins the ball, he can attack the mini goals in a transition game. 

Rotation: Players must go back to starting position, switch every 5mins.

1v1 Games

Defender plays ball to attacker and steps quick to win the ball

Attacker has two gates to choose from to try to dribble to - attacker must dribble through gate to get a point  

If Defender blocks one gate, attacker can change direction to attack other gate

If Defender wins the ball,  they can score. Attacker must transition to win ball back and score.  

Coaching Points - Attacker

First touch must be directional to start engaging defender

Take risks

Creativity to get away from Defender

Once Dribbling, must change direction and speed

Upper body movement

Transition to defend if lose ball

3v3 Dribbling Transition Game

Attacking Team:

Player B checks into space to receive the ball 

Once the ball is played, player A and C must criss cross to start the attack

Defending team can step out to win the ball as soon as the first ball is played 

If defending team wins the ball, they can attack opposite goal 

Rotation 

Players go back to starting position once play is done, rotate positions every 5mins 

Team restarts with the ball if they score or finished with a shot

Progression: Coach can have and play a new ball to reset game
from a transitional situation.
