move cones closer to goal
Encourage additional touchesto set themselves before shooting
Observation/intervention considerations:
· Group A whilewaiting during practice
· if players arestruggling or there is lack of movement off the ball to support, stop play andhighlight it - group intervention
· when to swapover roles (lengthen if players aren't getting enough repetition to mater thetechnique
· shorten thecycle if players are looking tired

Progression(s)
Add additional defender, evennumber with attacking players
Decrease the half lengths
Limit time individuals have onhe ball if dribbling too often. 5 secondcountdown)
Reduce width of pitch
Regression(s)
Add additional defender toregain, retain the ball.
Increase the width of thepitch
Defenders only block nottackle
Considerations / Observations
Are there enough shots?
Are the players motivated to take the shots and the scoring system?
What is preventing the shots?
Are they performing the technique well under the emphasis of an early shot? If it is rushed and technique is suffering, allow/encourage extra touches.
Are the ability dynamics of the teams preventing shots. i.e one team of good defenders reducing the opportunity for shots
