Organization: Groups of 4, each player with the ball setup as shown
Instructions:
1 player from each line goes at a time (2 players total), upon eye contact they dribble at one another and perform a scissor and accelerate to the gate
Coaching Points:
-Drive at speed using Messi Touches
-Head up to the assess the space
-Scissor Technique- Toe pointed towards the ground, close as possible to the ball, getaway touch out feet and into space

Organization:
Groups of 3 to 4, Attacking player shown in Blue, 2 5 yard gates set up as shown.
Instructions:
Defending player plays into the attacking player, and immediately presses the attacking player applying passive pressure. Player next in line, picks a gate and run towards it. The attacking player can only attack toward the open gate.
Coaching Points:
Attacking player head up to assess where the open gate is. If we don't have our head up we will not know where the space to attack.
-Drive at the defending player to commit them, if we drive directly at them they don't know where we intend on attacking.
-Scissor Technique: Foot pointed towards ground, scissor as close to ball as possible to increase speed of the move. Drive with the foot that you intend to do the first scissor with. Getaway touch is out of the tackling radius and into space.
