Skills practice
Coaches focus to continue with Mechanics of Passing/ Control - Importance of Body position when passing and receiving in congested areas.
Organisation - 30m x 20m 4v4 - 2 halves
Team 1 begin by passing ball to each other and retaining possession in their half of the pitch
Opposition player comes in to oppose and try to prevent 5 passes - if successful and recovers the ball dribbles ball back to their opposite area and begins passing routine between team mates - Dispossessed opposition player comes to press and so on.
Target = 5 passes = 1 pt - then 2nd player comes over and so on,
Team challenges - First to 5 points then new game
Progressions
Limit touches on possessing team - 2 touch / 1 touch
Play at least 1 game (first to 3) with weaker foot
Regressions
1pt for 4 passes.

Organisation - transition to SSG
ALL four outfield players must touch the ball in each attacking sequence.
Rotate goalkeepers every 3 minutes
Progression
Limited player touches to 3, 2 or 1
2 Minute game on weaker foot
Regression
Just 3 players on team to pass in build up to score.
Introduce 2 x directional gates - ball must be passed through one (or both) to win a point
No conditions/Challenges Timed SSG to finish.
Targets
2 White gates added onto pitch to provide a pt for successful passes via gates
