Six Goal Transition Game = speed of play, pressure, movement, decision making, team work and communication.
5v5 + Goalie - teams attack set north and south nets x2 -
Goalies repsonsible for defending both nets and can move along the line to support their team - side nets are empty and either team can score on the side nets
Coaching Points:
Defensive organization - each team needs to be in position to stop each goal and not leave any player isoloated.
Quick transitions - teams need to attack upon winning psossession
Desicion making - players need to solve problems quickly and get in positions both sides of the ball
Offensive - players need to look to change point of attack through possession in the middle
Communication - individuals need to get organized quickly - especially the GK's
