Dribbling: Change Direction Moves (15 mins)

Set up:

cone, balls

Organization:

Two players from opposite lines dibble at the center cone preform the move and explode to the next line (or same line). Players will do each move for 1 min & both directions.

Moves:

1. Inside Chop

2. Outside Chop

3. Cruijff Turn

4. Pull back

5. Stepover Turn

6. V- Move

7. L-Move

Coaching points:

-Accelerate after your move

-Correct weight of touch

Shooting (25 mins)

Set up:

cones, goals, balls

Organization:

Play 4v4

Attacking Team: Player 1 runs around the cone and recieves a pass from Player 2 and has one touch to shoot it. Player collects a ball and heads to the end of the line

Defending Team: Player runs around the goal & becomes the gk.

5min rounds, 4 rounds total.

Coaching points:

-Shape your run to be able to strike it one time

-Ankle locked

-Strike through the ball

-Follow through
