Instructions:
Defenders start game with pass, defenders can press as soon as ball leaves their foot
Attacker tries to score in goal, if defender wins the ball then can dribble past attackers start line
Coaching Points:
- Quality of first touch
- Can we score right away if pressure isnt tight
- Can we change direction if we shift defender
- Can we fake change of direction
- Disguised pass

Organization:
See figure. Two endzones. Teams play 3v3 or 4v4 to target players (based on numbers). One ball in play, the rest behind target players on each side
Instructions:
Teams play 3v3 or 4v4 in the middle. Teams can score a point by connecting both target players without losing possession of the ball. Play 3 minute games. Team with the most points wins. If ball goes out of play or is not controlled, start ball with target player.
Coaching Points:
- Receive on half turn when possible
- Multiple scans before getting on ball
- Use of double pass if pressure at back and then quick movement to expose space behind pressuring defender (If back foot is not on)
- Use of link player to find target (indirect play) if unable to turn and penetrate directly
- Angles of support and mobility of players without the ball
Progressions/Regressions:
P) Rotate target players
P) Target players only have 2 or 1 touch
P) Double points if you can connect target to target in 2 or less passes

Organization:
2 channels approx 10x14yds. 4 players per channel.
Instructions:
Attacker (A) plays double pass with Defender (D). Defender then applies pressure. A looks to break defensive line with 1st touch and then play forwards into Target (T) on the opposite side. Activity then begins again from opposite side.
Rotation: A-D-T-A.
Coaching Points:
1st touch to break line of pressure or manipulate defenders positioning?
Option 1: Play forwards early.
Option 2: If penetrating pass is denied, use V-Move/L-Turn to create space to play forwards.
