1v1 - Transition phase
If a player scores in their 1vs1, the player who scored can transition and help their teammate in a 2 vs1
Players must remember that when they transition they are now scoring in the opposite direction to their own game.
Coaching points
Technical
Meet the ball, first touch to set up a dribble, encourage the defedner to serve a good accurate pass along the ground, changes of direction when dribbling, defensive stance
Tactical:
Angles of support in 2 vs 1, over lapping runs, switch play
Psychological:
Quick transition to next attack, spotting new space and dangerous areas,
Social:
Defenders waiting off the field should be encouraged to help guide the defenders on the field, "show right/left" etc

Possession:
4 players in each square, team with the ball start passing to keep possession and every 3 passes the defending team can send a player to support the defender and try to win the ball back, when winning possession they have to pass it to their square and keep possession from the other team who will send one player every 3 passes again.
Rules or progressions that may apply:
limit the players to 2 or 3 touches, depending on the level.
set goals on each end of the field and once the attacking team can bring the entire defending team to their own half they can score.

Technical Warm up (10 mins)
Technical Warm up: (10min) [Goal is to reach 1000 touches on the ball]
Players start dribbling inside the area they have 2 minutes to get as many touches as they can.
Progression 1: (2min) Players have limited touches (3) every 3 touches they have to perform a move followed by a change of speed into open space
Progression 2: (2min) Players must use different parts of the the foot (right and left) for the 3 touches and then perform their move.
Progression 3: (Players) Players still have 3 touches then they will try to put as many moves in a row as they can. (drag back into scissors + drag back swipe) start over.
Coaching points:
Dribble with the head up, keep the ball close to the feet, use of weak foot, find open space, speed up after the move, different moves in a row (scissors, step overs, drag backs, L turns)
Players can do toe taps in between progressions.
