Organization: Use the 7v7 field across the field with 6' far post goals, cones as shown, balls and pinnies.
Duration: Break group up into 2, run area 1 and 2 simultaneous for 12-15 minutes then switch. Area 3 will be run with the both groups as a 7v7 game focusing on positional play.
Instructions:
Area 1- Players split into 2 sides. Start with the first player dribbling around the poles, then they pass through crossed poles to a teammate who turns with the ball and passes down the channel to the last player who finishes on a small bownet. Players follow their passes, shooter returns to the start, run until all the balls are in the net.
Area 2- 2v1, alternate sides that the ball is passed out from. Attacking players return to the opposite lines, run so everyone gets a chance to attack and defend.
Area 3: Set up formations on either side of the field, 7v7- 2-3-1and finish with a game for the remaining time. Stop the game as needed to reset positions.
PD 5-8 (50 mins)
Organization: Set up 3 areas on half field. If more room is required use the endzone for agility. Split into groups of 10 maximum
Adjust the field set up as needed for Delpark
Duration: 10 minutes for 4 groups, 8 minutes for 5 groups.
Equipment: Area 1- 15x30; flags, poles, hurdles, rings
Area 2- 15x30, cones, balls, poles, hurdle, small bownets
Area 3- 15x40 split to 2 fields, 5' farpost nets, pinnies
Area 4- 15x30 cones, balls, pylons
Rotation- 8-10 minutes per station. Have players bring there water with them to each station.
Instructions:
Area 1- Agility course, run as races, players run around each pole in a circle, through hurdles, touch coloured cones, do toe taps, and tic tocs at the end and sprint back.. Run with the ball after they have had a couple of races without.
Area 2- Use Bownets Players pass through the cones, through the adjustable hurdle, through the crossed poles and finish on goal. Run a few times and make it a race. Allow players to try and pass through multiple targets, move them further apart if it is too easy.
Area 3- Small sided games, play 4v4 for 5/6 and 5v5 for 7/8.
Area 4- Soccer Bowling, split into two teams.
