Coaching points:
Can you keep ball close to maintain control in tight spaces? Can you use different parts of foot to manipulate ball and change direction for opportunity to score, or pass to a teammate (forward, wide, reset). Importance of first touch when dribbling (control, directional touch)

Organzation:
Using half of an indoor 1/4 pitch, mark area with cones, with a 3x3 box marked with cones in each corner. 6-8 players.
Activity:
Divide players into 2 groups, lined up opposite end of a feeder, approx 5 yards appart from each other, and farthest from their opponents boxes (goals). Once feeder plays ball into area of play, the first player in both lines will race to the ball. Players try to win the ball and play 1v1, and score by dribbling ball into one of 2 of opponents boxes.
Progression 1: 2v2.
Progression 2: Assign diagonal boxes as opponents goals.
Coaching points:
Does player demonstrate ability to dribble with all parts of foot? Can dribble with ball close to feet to allow controlled movements. Promote change of direction, can player use decision making to attack different targets (areas of field) depending on defenders position. If player beats opponent to ball, can use first touch to create advantage. Promote Creativity.
