Organization:
2 lines of players. 6 cones in a straight line spread apart approx. 3 feet away from each other. Relay race with ball on head/neck/behind you.
Instructions:
Two teams compete in relay race. If player drops the ball, has to return to cone where ball is dropped to continue the race from there. Sit down when you are finished with your race. First team to have all players sitting wins.

progression: progress this to technical relay race zig zagging around the cones with right foot with an outside turn at end of sixth cone.

Organization:
2v2 attacking/defending to goals on small fields.
Instructions:
Defenders: Pressure the ball and poke it (1 point) or block tackle (2 points) with cover (3 points) to prevent penetration; Attackers: provide diagonal passing lines and penetrate to score a goal (1 point)
Coaching Points/Questions:
Technical: block tackle, poke ball
Tactical: movement off the ball, defending: recovery run to cover; attacking: diagonal penetrating runs
Why is it harder for the opponent to attack if we provide cover to our teammate who is pressuring the ball?

Instructions:
Game-like conditions except defending team can pressure and cover in the identified situation to earn 2 points to counter a goal (1 point) scored by attackers.
