Theme: “Peace” the only battle worthwaging
Length of game: 45minutes
Organization/Rules: Dividethe participants in 3 equal teams, two teams of equal number play against eachother for 5 minutes before they can change, if a team makes 8 passes, withoutthe ball being intercepted by the opponent is a point, after 5 minutes is over,the losing team goes out.
Sample Discussion Questions: How was the game? Can someone tell me what is peace?. What is theimportance of peace?
Possible Progressions/Variations: The third team that comprises of 4 players act as wall players on the sideline. When one team is inpossession of the ball, they can pass it to any player on the sideline. Theplayer is supposed to pass the ball back to the team he/she received it from.Note that the player on the sideline does not belong to any particular team andcannot be attacked by the opponents.
Sample Discussion Questions: What is the role of the playerson the touch line? How are the players on the touchline interfering withpeace in the game?. Can you identify howother people interfere with peace in the community?
