Double Y Passing - Pattern II
2 Balls
All players should be engaged and creating appropriate movement to receive the ball.
Go both directions.

Organization:
- 16x16 area (can be adjusted for level or needs)
- 2v2+1 in middle with lines across from each other acting as targets
- Teams can only use targets in their color
- Player passes to target who enters the field, passer goes to end of target line
- Teams possess ball playing, points can be awarded for getting the ball from one target to the other without losing possession
- Player can pass back to target line where the ball came from to retain possession
Coaching Points:
*Movement off ball to open passing lanes
*Body shape when receiving ball to be able to play to bigger part of the field
*Attacking first touch when coming in as a target
*Pressure ball imediately when target comes on, eliminate early ball to other target

Organization:
- Balls begin at cone farthest from goal
- Two players at each cone or manequinn to help flow of activity and give players someone to move off
- Simple zig zag passing, player pulls away from cone in the opposite direction from the player on the ball to create an angle
- Final player finishes on goal
Coaching Points:
*Timing of movement and counter movement
*Cue should be when player recieves and opens with first touch
*Two touch rythym
*Recieve accross body
*Good communication
*Take a look over shoulder
*Pace and quality of pass
Adjustments:
- Switch direction of movement so finish comes from other side
- Can add a defender on last player to free themself on either side (passive or full pressure)
- Can add a combo or lay off on end from player D back to C
