Number 1
-Inside and Outside both feet through cones, pass to coach, check off, receive with back foot, dribble balck through cones.
-4 reps on each side
Number 2
-Inside and Outside right foot
-Play pass to coach once through cones and check towards coach
-Bounce pass in centre
-Check to left hand side of poles, bounce pass
-Check back into the middle, bounce pass
-Check to right hand side, receive ball with back foot and dribble back through cones using left foot & Inside and Outside.
-4 reps on each side.

-Fast paced play dealing with different services
-Slow pass infront - Defender cuts infront of the poles (Striker) and intercepts, passes back to coach
-Coach plays pass left of right of poles, Defender must pass back first time. Outside foot.
-Headers, Defender must get up and head ball at highest possible point.
-Coach also has tennis balls that they will randomly throw. Defender only allows ball to bounce once before catching and throwing back.

Same as previous but now coach can say "squeeze Red" or "Squeeze Yellow.
-Defender must check forward, touch said pole and check back

Same as before but now adding
-Coach says "Red" or "Yellow".
-Check forward into the centre, bounce pass
-Check outside the said coloured cone, bounce pass
-Drop deep behind pole, receive pass and take first touch behind pole.
-Once around pole on the other side, pass ball back and return behind poles.
-Coach can also say "Block red goal" "Block yellow goal" and players must block an attempted shot on said goal

-Defender initiates drill by checking towards pole and touching it
-Player then must quickly retreat back as the coach will throw a ball up which it to be headered back.
-Coach will then randomly drop a ball on either side of the pole. Player must come out to the ball and play a pass into the goal on that side.

Ball Skills Warm Up (10 mins)
Player performs ball mastery skills inside box. Coach will call a colour, player must dribble through those coloured cones
1-Sole roll with stepover - Roll across to left side of body RF, Step over with LF, Roll across to right side of bidy LF, Step over with RF
2-Vs - Ball starts on right side, Drag ball down and across with LF, open up hips and pass ball forward with LF. Drag ball down and across with RF, open up hips and pass ball forward with RF.
3 Inside and Outsides - RF hit slightly inwards with inside of foot, then hit slightly outwards with outside of RF, then hit slightly inwards with inside of RF. LF hit slightly inwards with inside of food, the hit slightly outwards with outside of LF, then hit slightly inwards with inside of LF.
PROGRESSION
-Player must do whatever ball mastery skill coach says, the each colour cone has different dribbling technique
- Red - Inside and outside left foot
- Orange - Sole Rolls
- Yellow - Inside and outside both feet
- Blue - Inside and outside Right foot
