Setup:

10x10 grid

4 attackers, 2 defenders

Activity:

Attackers combine to possess the ball. 6 passes = goal.

Defenders try to win ball or force play sideways/backwards.

Coaching Points:

+ Pressure - get on surfboard and make play predictable

+ Cover - Deny split/central player, read pressure

Intervals:

2 min work + 1 min rest x 6 games = 18 min

Setup:

20x15 grid (longer than wide)

Two teams of 4 (3v3 plus 2 neutrals)

Activity:

Team in possession scores by connecting both target players.

When a team wins possession, they should play to easiest target and then the game becomes directional to other target. 

Coaching Points:

~ Defending priorities: 1) pressure on ball ASAP (make predictable) 2) cover on ball line between ball and goal (target) 3) Next most dangerous space

Setup:

1/2 Field with big goals and GKs

Both teams in 1-4-3-0

Activity:

10 min - score by passing the ball into GK feet (not scoring)

10 min - score by passing the ball into GK hands

10 min - no restrictions - normal soccer rules

Coaching Points:

+ #1 priority is pressure on the ball

+ Deny central penetration (force play wide or back)
