Set up:
Players set up with one neutral on opposite sides of the cone area. each team has two end zone neutrals. Red plays with red, blue plays with blue. Players start by receiving from the outside neutral to combine with the middle player to pass the ball to the opposite outside neutral.
Coaching points:
1) Check to the ouside space, receive back foot to get the ball forward quickly.
2) Know when to check to the player with the ball or when to check into space behind.
3) Fix the body shape to see the direction that you want to play and the passing player.
Progression:
1) 1 or 2 touch play.

Set Up:
Players keep possesion in between the four neutral players.
Coaching Points:
1) every player should have 2 options to pass to, movement off the ball.
2) notice moments to dribble to take space and moments to pass.
3) neutral movement is side to side facing the play communicating.
Progression:
1) neutral players can only play 1 touch, with inside players only playing 2 touches

Set Up:
Defending players play a back 4/3 attacking players play a midfield 5 with a number 9 up top, in order for blue to score blue must possess and pass the half way line. ball always starts as a "goal kick". The pass should be a penetrating pass into space or a dribble to beat the player to take space. attacking team must posses in their half before crossing to find a open option, attacking team can go in both zones during play. Ball stays on the ground, passes go to the feet of teammates. Defending team if they win the ball can counter to score on either small goal.
Coaching Points:
1) when attacking make the field bigger in your position.
2) notice when to spread out into a space and when to to come short or check to the ball.
3) big dribbling moments, be creative! is there a skill you can use to get out of a situation?
Progression:
1) progress to a scrimmage game.

Set Up:
Players play a scrimmage game with no restrictions. Individual coaching only.

Set up:
Players set up on each cone. One soccer ball working with each group. Players pass and move according to their pass. Players check away from the cone as the player is receiving. Players work on receiving back foot and distributing. Progress to a combination move, then to a cross field pass.
Coaching points:
1) Anticipate, move to the space behind as your teammate receives and passes.
2) Communicate where you want the ball, non verbal and verbal.
3) Slight touch forward with the inside of the back foot then release, passing using inside foot, locked ankles passing with pace.
Progression:
1) One pass now goes through the middle area.
