Play 7v7 + 1 player centrally ( Yellow )
Both teams in a GK-2-2-1-1
All players can move around the practice as directed by the coach based on playing principes and the realistic demand of the game
Explanation
The objective of the team in possession is to try and play through, around or over the opposition players to score. The team in possession can use the common player to bounce the ball off who is limited to two touch. Once a team has scored play restarts with the opposition. The SSG MUST reflect the 11 v 11 game in terms of throw in's and restarts.
Conditions, Challenges & Targets
1. Players must try to break the lines of the opposing team by threading split passes through opposing players. Each team will score 3 goals for splitting opposing players and 1 goal for playing around or over the opposition players

Specific Practice - Breaking Lines
Welsh Way Principles - Playing through / around / over Understand when and how to play through, around or over the opposition based on the type of pressure applied
Organisation / Area Size
60m x 30m
Play 7v7 + 1 player centrally ( Yellow )
Play 4 x 3m periods with 2m rest.
Both in a GK-2-2-1-1 ( GK 4-4-2 ) without Full Backs and Wide players
midfielders can move around the practice as directed by the coach based on playing principles, the centre backs for both the blue/red team are locked into the boxes as servers for the specific part of the practice
Explanation
Both teams are focusing on the same in possession principle but
only ONE team is coached and the other team is managed. The
objective of the team in possession is to try and play through,
around or over the opposition players and score by transferring the ball into their #9. The team in possession can use the nuetral player to bounce the ball off who is limited to two touch. The team in possession HAS to play through the MF3/common player and can't play direct. Once a team has successfully got the ball into the #9 they can then go through into a 1v1 v the GK. This is managed by a countdown to mimick the game. The GK then distibutes a ball into a centre back and play restarts.
Conditions, Challenges & Targets
1. Players must try to break the lines of the opposing team by threading split passes through opposing players in midfield. Each team will score 3 goals for splitting opposing players and 1 goal for playing around
