Organization:
1.3 areas of 20x10 set up as shown
2.5 yard scoring zone
3.Four teams of 12 – (3 teams attackers and 1 team defenders)
4.Lots of balls
5.3 Pugg goals
Instructions:
1.Yellow defenders their own goal for 90seconds
2.Each attacking team works within their area in a 1v1 game and aim to get past the defender into the 5 yard scoring zone and shoot into the pugg
3.After the attack is over the next player in line attempt to score
4.Team keeps their score
5.After 90seconds the defending team rotates with one of the attacking teams
6.After all teams have defended the team with the highest total of goals is the winner
Coaching Points:
1.Good positive first touch
2.Controlled approach
3.Observe defenders position
4.Attackers defenders front foot
5.Execution of move
6.Take touch back across the defender
Progression:
1.P – Increase the size of the goal and add Goalkeepers
2.R – Remove the scoring zone to allow players to score from any where

3.1 ball per group
Description:
1.Players play four 1v1 games at the same time
2.Defending players can only take the ball from their partner
3.Attacking players can score in any of three goals at on the opposite end of the area
4.Attacking players must dribble through the goal to score (not shoot)
Coaching Points:
1.Drive at defenders front foot
2.Keep ball moving to unbalance defender
3.Speed of play
4.Protect the ball when pressured is tight
5.Use upper body for disguise
Progression:
1.P - Time limit on attacking play (10 seconds to score)
2.R - Add neutral players, combine with players in possession

Warm-up (20 mins)
Organization:
1.40 x 40 yard area, set up as shown
2.2 equal teams
3.Balls split between the two teams
4.Two 5 x 5 yard area to hold the balls
5.Two 5 x 5 yard areas that act as prisons
Instructions:
1.Teams are split into two and each have their own half of the area
2.In each half there is a ball holding area and a prison
3.The objective is to ‘CAPTURE’ all the oppositions soccer balls and return these to your holding area
4.When players are in their own half they are safe – when they are in the oppositions half they can be tagged
5.Players cannot be tagged when in the oppositions ball holding area
6.Players cannot be tagged when dribbling a ball back to their half of the field
7.If a player is tagged they must go to prison
8.The only way to get out of prison is if a teammate runs into the prison to tag you
9.When tagged the player is free to walk from prison back to their own half of the field
10.The first team to ‘CAPTURE’ all the balls wins
