Drill 1 Passing and reactions (10 mins)

Keeper (green) and feeder (red) pass ball between each other. Feeder decides a suitable point to play the pass wide for the keeper to react on by diving and saving.

SETS = 3

NUMBER PER SET = 5

Drill 3 - Second Save (10 mins)

1) Feeder calls colour of cone

2) Goal keeper dives and touches that cone

3) keeper quickly gets back on feet and makes save from feeder and GK2

Drill 5 - Fast feet (10 mins)

1) GK moves over ladder

2) each time they hit a cone they make a save to the side

3) side alternates each cone

4) after 3 sets Gk swap

Conditioned game for switching and keeping the ball (10 mins)

Possesion condtition Game

This game is set out to encourage the midfield and defenders to use the switch ball whilst the forwards get a chance to work on quick breaks up field.

The team in yellow with 2 goal keepers score points by dribling the ball through the poles on either wing whilst the red team score by putting the ball past either goal keeper.

This will encourage the yellow team to move the ball quickly to create space to put the ball through the poles whilst the reds will want to win the ball back as soon as they can to produce a counter attack to score a goal.
