Set up big squares (10mx10m) - 2 players per square. Try to make it so players of similar abilities are paired together
Each player starts on a cone and when you say go, everyone will dribble to the next cone in a counter-clockwise direction. As the players get each cone, or each second cone, the coach calls out a new type of dribbling skill. The players then complete this skill until a new command is received. Mix up the commands, defaulting back to normal dribble to give players a rest every now and then. Go for about 2 minutes then pause. Repeat a number of times.
Examples of commands/skills:
- normal dribble
- silent push dribble
- switch directions
- speed dribble
- Indian dribble
- Pulls left to right (sideways shuffling)
- Pulls right to left (sideways shuffling)
- Pulls backwards on an angle (2 left, 2 right - zig zag backwards)
- lifted dribble
- left hand only forehand
- left hand only upright reverse
- right hand only (forehand)

Timed dribble-shoot competition
Split the group into small teams, 3 players per team is ideal. Balls are placed in a long rectangle a fair distance from the top of the circle. Use the space that you have. Spread the balls evenly throughout the rectangle. Each team starts on one of the yellow cones.
When you say go, one player from each team runs as fast as they can to get a ball from the rectangle, dribble it as quickly as possible to the circle, and shoot FROM THE TOP. They then run back the their team's yellow cone where their teammates are waiting and stick tap with the next player in line. That player then repeats what the first player did.
*Players can take a ball from ANYWHERE in the long red rectangle.
Objective: Team that scores the most goals wins. All the teams are taking balls out of the same shared pot so the faster you go the more goals you can score!
