After go move to back of opposite line so you work both feet during process

Touch size - direction of touch - distance from defender, move to produce, change of direction, change of touch size ,change of speed - Scan to see space to shoot- Eyes to ball and strike through ball

Coaching points
Touch sizes needed, set up touch ( weight and angle) awareness of where to shoo, body position and shape in relation to ball and angle of shot required , laces across the goal with shot.

6 v 6 Quick shooting game - have side players if you want to include all the team
Diamond shape so it encourage and produces more shooting opportunities .
Can we get shots off quickly - may want to limit touches to make more realistic.
Working on movement, creating angles and ability to strike quickly under pressure
If we cant shoot can we play quickly to team mate so they can shoot
Rebounds and reactions of team mates when shot is struck.

1v1 Pressured Shooting
Players in 2 lines
Start with front players in each line, they must runs around the mannequin and back through gate
as they approach the gate The ball played forward by the coach, the 2 players must try and get to the ball firstPlayer getting to the Ball 1st must try and score
Looking at reaction speed, awareness of touch size/direction, can they get shot of quickly, do they need to work ball to create opportunity to shot.

Technique to shoot
Basic shooting technique
in 3s - on shout of go they all run up to their ball and shoot at goal, once they have finished they quickly collect the ball and join back of a new line - encourage to work both feet during the process.
Breakdown
Stationary ball - angle of approach, plant non kicking foot, head and knee over back , arms up and out for balance , ankle lock toe down, laces strike through ball, control body during contact, strike through follow through ( step past where ball was positioned )
Progression
Touch ball forward so it is rolling to make it a more realistic exercise.
