THE SESSION:
Player A starts the practice, plays into B who has made a movement to receive on his back foot. A presses immediately after passing (no tackling) B performs side move to get away from A and plays diagonally to C who looks to beat D and score in the shaded area.
Practice repeats and players change roles.
PROGRESSIONS:
B can join in for 2v1

Organization
-10 players

Activity
-on coaches call ("red" "yellow") 2 players for each team must react, touch that colour cone, then run around their net, with coach passing ball in, to play 2v2, can score in either goal, if win the ball attack opponents net

Organization
- 35 x 35 area set up as shown
- split team up into Attackers, Defenders & 2 Target Players
- 2 Goals set up as shown
- 1 Ball (additional on outside)
Activity
- Players are split into two teams & play possession game Attack vs Defense inside playing area
- Two Target Players (one either end) are part of the game & are on one touch
- Team in possession must play into a Target Player before looking to score in either goal
- If Defenders win the ball the same process must happen. Target Player before scoring
- After set time rotate the Target Players
-if you have goalkeepers you can use them in the nets or use mini goals/pugs

- Pass Type: Accuracy, selection & Weight
- Possession: Secure the ball, Circulate the ball & keep it rolling!
- Awareness: always check space & surroundings before, during & after receiving
- Support: Be in a position to receive & help team mate in possession

- Finishing: Be positive & ruthless in front of goal!
Progression
P - Target Players cannot play back to team mate who passed the ball (3rd man)
P - Attacking team has two touch
P - One touch finishes
P - After using Target Player they can enter area to help overload!

Small Sided Game:
One team Starts with a Break Away unopposed except for the GK. Coaches tells the teams how many touches they get including the shot. 4 total touches is a good starting point.
Once the Red Breakway Player shoots Two White Players on the opposite team start attacking the Red or Opposite goal and the Red breakaway player defends creating a 2v1.
Once the 2 White players score or the ball goes out of bounds 3 Red Players attack the white goal & the 2 White players defend creating 3v2.
You keep adding players until you reach 4v4 and they play until one team scores or the ball goes out.
GK's are live players and play contines when they save the ball.
