Organization:
-10/15 by 15/20 yard grids
-Split group into 2 or 3 smaller groups
-1 pinnie per attacker (white team)
Instructions:
-1 side is attackers, 1 side is defenders
-Attackers have 1 pinnie in shorts that defenders try to grab
-Attackers need to beat defender 1v1 and get to the other side before defender can steal pinnie
-After 2-3 minutes, switch defenders and attackers
-1 point for beating defender and keeping pinnie
-1 point for stealing pinnie
Coaching Points:
-Attack the defender with speed
-Can we give ourself 2 options?
-Can we use body/eyes to fake defender out
-Correct distance to use fake depends on? (Defenders speed, attackers speed)
-Accelerate after beating defender
Progressions:
-White attackers for 2/3 minutes
-Blue attackers for 2/3 minutes

Organization:
1. 20x15 area.
2. 3-4 players per line depending on numbers.
3. One ball per player.
Instructions:
1. Player at the beginning of each line dribbles towards the middle cone.
2. When he gets to the middle cone, he performs an inside-outside move.
3. He accelerates away to the next cone.
4. The next player in each line repeats the process
Coaching Points:
1. Head up to observe space.
2. Connect with teammate - eye contact.
3. Quality of approach - Messi touches.
4. Accelerate away - Ronaldo.
5. Technical execution of inside-outside.
Progressions:
1. Work on both feet.

-Each grid has 1 ball (extras behind)
-Dribble over line, or shoot in puggs if there is enough
Instructions:
-Defenders pass ball to attacker
- Attacker tries to beat defender 1v1 and either shoot or dribble over enline
-Attacker gets 1 point for success
-Defender gets 1 point for stealing and dribbling over opponents line

- Two teams
- Two goals
- Four corner flags
- Every player assigned a number
Instructions:
Two teams play a 4v4 small-sided conditioned game. On coaches command, numbered player must run around the opposition corner flag before returning to play. One point is scored during a 4v4, two points for scoring in an uneven numbers scenario (i.e. 4v3, 4v2, 3v2). All goals must be scored in opposition half.
Coaching Points:
Retreating Defender:
- Mentality
- Quick reactions
- Cut off direct route to goal / shooting lane
- Take shortest possible distance
- Sprint in straight line
- Apply immediate pressure
1st Defender:
- Delay opposition attack - until 4v4
- Cut off direct route to goal / shooting lane
2nd & 3rd Defenders:
- Delay opposition attack - until 4v4
- Cover 1st defender
- Provide balance if necessary
- Ensure compactness
Progressions:
- Coach calls out more than one number at a time

-Get players use to hitting a longer pass, and work on accuracy

-Look at teammate before striking, then put head down and strike ball
-Use either inside or laces depending on distance
-Stay over ball to keep it low, get under the ball to loft/drive ball

-Start with ball on ground
