Back to Goal 1v1 (55 mins)

Organization

- Players in grups of 4-5 starting 20 yards from goal

- A mannequin or pole is place 20 yards from goal

- One player starts backing in to the mannequin

Activity

- The player at the front of the line will shift the ball and play in to the strikers feet (Player at the mannequin)

- The striker receives in different ways to create the opportunity to get the strike away (Outside foot, inside foot, touch in front change direction to beatg defender, touch one way move the other)

Progression

1) Instead of receiving to feet the player checks in before then making the move in behind, the pass is played to match the run.

2) Replace Mannequin with active defender

- Burst of speed

- Composure

- Soft feet to turn

- Body between ball and defender
