Conditioned Game: Playing Through/ Round

Set up/Organisation/Description:

• Pitch length 45 yards; width of 11 aside pitch
• 2v2 with 1 floater to create 3v2 in middle
• For game 1- 2x 15x15 boxes in middle third wide areas for full backs to receive
• For game 2- 2x defensive lines marked across width of pitch 18 yards from goal line 

Game 1 (Playing Round)

• Normal game rules apply; teams can any score a goal for 1 point
• If GK can play a pass for team mate to receive in wide box (replicate playing into a full back) and team go on to score from that passage of play then team score 3 points
• Rotate GKs regularly (Can be time-based or GKs rewarded for winning to increase stress and competitive environment)
  
  Game 2: Playing through
  
• Normal game rules apply; teams can any score a goal for 1 point
  
• If team can break opposition blue line with pass and player running on scores = 3 points
• If GK can break opposition blue line with pass for team mate running on to score= 5 points

Progression(s)

• Add 4v2 in middle to gain success and increase GK options on ball if needed
• Play resumes by GK coach playing through ball cross in on either goal as shown
