Time -12-15 minutes, 2-3 minute cycle, enough for a cycle for each player to have a turn
Explanation -
Carrying on from the technical drill, group remains split into two groups, one group takes position on cone point A, the other cone point B
Players on cone A pass the ball towards the 1st player at cone B, both players can move forward towards the attacking zone(shaded)
Once the play is started by player starting, the defender awaiting in the goal will push forward.
Either player can take a shot at goal once they have created a chance to shoot.
The player that takes the shot at goal will take the place of the defender, the second attacking player alternates to the opposite cone and the defending player the other.
After each cycle player groups alternate the shooting point from cone A to B, varying the angle of shot at goal.
Conditions
Shot at goal must be in the attacking zone. Defender to start on goal line and remain with the attacking zone.

Area size - 35m x 20m
Players - 5 v 5/ 6 v 6
Time -10-15 minutes then free play football
Explanation -
Pitch split into 2 halves
Equal number of players to each team.
However in each half we create an overload of attacking players ( 6 v 6, 1GK, 2 defenders, 3 attackers)
Players to remain in their zones until they are rotated.( timed rotations by coach)
Goals can only be scored within the last zone.
Aim, create space for the attacking player to get plenty of shots at goal.
Progression(s)
Add additional defender, even number with attacking players
Decrease the half lengths
Regression(s)
Add additional defender to regain, retain the ball.
Increase the width of the pitch

Players on cone A pass the ball towards the 1st player at cone B, they then move forward into the attacking zone(shaded) to receive the ball back and shoot at goal with a 1st time shot.
After taking their shot at goal the player returns to join the group at cone B, the passing player on the goal line will join the shooting group at cone A.
After each cycle player groups alternate the shooting point from cone A to B, varying the angle of shot at goal.
Conditions
To have as few touches as possible before taking the shot at goal.
