Tech-Tac game
Ex A) 4v2 (6 players per group)
2 players in 3 x teams on each end of rectangular pitch (2 orange, 2 blue, 2 yellow)
Aim is to get ball from one side to the other (orange to orange)
2 players inside the pitch work with 2 external (orange) players
2 other players are defenders trying to win the ball, no tackling
If defenders intercept, they join with external players and start their score count
Pairs with highest score = winners
Change it: 2 points to get straight across without using internal players and add tackling
Focus on how players receive and protect the ball ie if they are marked from behind, they need to keep ball away from defender and move to pass
If receiving ball in some space, trying to allow ball to move forward and get feet around the ball
Ex B) Shooting drill
Remaining players to D
Working player A in D leads to B outside D, 1 touch ball into D, shoot
A leads to C, 1-touch into D, shoot
A leads to E, 1-touch into D, shoot
Once all 4 players have gone twice, change places with 4 players from Ex A

Attacking team (Blue) must receive the ball outside the D (LEADS) from Red team players and then work in to score
Focus on LEADING width and height options for passes as well as awareness of direct route to goal
Defenders (orange) - working on man to man marking and protecting the ball when they turn it over
If defenders get ball back to Team 3 (red), they leave the D and
Goalkeeper focus is organising the chaos and trying to clear through gates to score points.
