Set up:
Using half the field, players are working in two's, attackers start with a ball, defenders starting in front of them without a ball.
Instructions:
Attackers dribble the ball side to side going forwards, while the defender is jockeying side to side.
Coaching Points:
-Body position, side ways bending at the hips and the knees (jockey)
-Light on toes not flat footed
-Distance of approach-> touching distance
-Eye on ball
-Poke with front foot

Set Up:
Using half the field, defenders start same side as the goal working in two's, attackers start at half way working in three's.
Instructions:
Defenders serve a ball out to any one of the three attackers, as soon as they serve it, they get out as quickly as possible to prevent the attackers from scoring. If defenders win it, the dribble across the attackers line for a point.
Coaching Points:
-Communication-First player closest to ball shouts "on ball"
Second defender shouts "support"
-First player pressures the ball, second player supports on an angle.
-Body position, force them away from goal.

Eye on ball
