Session Objective: To improve quality of short passing
Organisation:
(A)Red team in four groups at cone,two receivers (yellow) on cones in middle.
Red 1 plays ball to Yellow 1 who plays back to Red 2.Red 2 plays to Yellow 2 who sets up Red 1 who has followed run,Red 1 then playsto Red 3 who plays to Red 4,Red 4 plays to Yellow 2 and process repeated opposite way,
(B)Development:
Two balls,start each end simultaneously.
(C) Development:
One ball,but switching ball( as shown in C.
(D) Development:
Two balls,start each end simultaneously.
Key Factors:
Quality of first touch out of feet.
Quality and weight and timing of pass.
Shape of midfielders to receive and play.
Speed and quality of movement to cross-over.

Session Objective:
Defending passing through lines.
Organisation:
Three groups,two red,one blue.Reds (A) have to manoevre ball and try to play through lines to other red group (B).Blues have to close down and limit opportunities,reacting to ball as it is spread along Red group.
Blues react by nearest man closing down,next man comes across to support and cover.Players react as ball is transfered.So if ball with Red 1,Blue 1 closes,Blue 2 shifts across.If ball transferred to Red 3 , Blue 3 closes and so on.Stay in boxes at first then players can move anywhere across theirchannel ( line of boxes).

Session Objective:: To improve possession and quick reaction on transition
Organisation:Simple game:Three teams.Two on,one off.Teams keep possession and try to knock cone down at opposite end of pitch.First to knock 2 down stays on.
Key Factors:
Spread out in possession.
Look to switch play if blocked off.
Angles to receive and switch.
Movement in advance and after playing ball.
Positive attitude to attack cone quickly if gaining possession.
