Session working on attacking principals. Principal focuses will be on passing into space and interchange of positions. Secondary focus will be on quick decision making and off the ball movement.

Interchange of positions (15 mins)
4 teams of 4 each team with a ball. You only pass to your team.
First: Pass to a player on your team and then find a different open grid to go to.
Second: Pass to a team mate moving to an adjacent grid rather than the grid they are in. Work on verbal and non verbal communication as well as playing the ball where a player is going not where they currently are.
Third: after you make a pass you must switch grids with a team mate who did not receive your pass.

Gate Game (15 mins)
Gate game. Teams play in a 2-3-2 formation. To score you need to make a pass to a team mate past the endline. Only ball or player can go through a gate not both.

SSG (15 mins)
SSG 8 v 8 if we have room may go 7 v 7 if not. Should be able to work with the interchange of positions and passing into space from what the session lead up to.

3 team rondo game (10 mins)
Multi team rondo. If 17 total players have two keepers be as neutrals but can only be 1 touch. Blue team has all 5 players in one grid and must make a minimum 5 passes. Yellow team sends one player into the grid as a defender. If blue makes 5 passes they can then switch the ball to any of the green players. If this happens yellow sends a different player from the middle to defend. If yellow wins the ball then green becomes the attacking team, yellow spreads out and blue defends.
Progression 1: Go 5 v 2 Progression 2: add a defender everytime the ball switches teams. Can someone get all 5 defenders in.
