Set Up (5 mins)

Key Factors:

Breaking Lines General Training Session (In Possesion)

Conditions for the Session:

- Each team will work in the middle section for 3mins, 2mins & 1min.

- The restrictions on the teams in possession go according with the time frames....

Free Play (3mins)

2 Touches (2mins)

1 Touch (1min)

(Can add in a forfeit at the end of each portion to the team who've been played through most)

- As it's just a small area, i would encourage(possibly even restrict) to keeping the ball below head height. Otherwise the game could become near enough impossible for the defensive side.

Organisation:

The pitch is split in to 3 areas.

2 outside boxes of 20x10m and the middle area of 20x5m

12 Players

4 x Red Bibs

4 x Blue Bibs

4 x Yellow Bibs

General Idea (20 mins)

Key Fatcors:

This is a great session for how I'd want my team to play.

Relaxed in possesion and keep the ball moving, but also being aware of when the spaces open up and it's the right time to play forward.

As the session gets going, the intensity and quality, should and will increase, so I would look to challenge the defensive team to not be broken through and maybe add an additional incentive to the team whov've won the ball the most amount of time.
