Organization:
16 Players, balls 16 Bibs 16 Cones 38x20 Area
This opposed practice expands upon the ideas of the warm up and introduces high pressure to replicate the chaos of a turnover in the real game.
Instructions:
Play 8 vs. 6 in middle area with 2 x players from one team in end zone. Team of 8 keep possession in middle zone. If team of 6 win possession they attempt to play quickly to end zone players and they enter the middle zone, whilst 2 players from opposition team drop into opposite end zone to create an 8 vs. 6.
Coaching Points:
Movement - To combine & receive within the transition, players should use creative and inventive movement to create space and move the ball forward.
Early decision making - When regain possession, attackers should try to make decisions early to expose the space behind or to the side of an unbalanced defensive shape.
Counter attack - When in the transition to attack, movement and support around and away from the ball should be early as well as traveling or passing the ball forward to take advantage of an unbalanced opposition.
Progressions:
Have 3 players in the zone to overload 8v5
Make the area smaller/bigger
Play 8v8 in the center

This session develops players awareness during transitions. This opposed practice progression further increases the challenge, really testing our players' decision making skills and technique.
Instructions:
38x20 Area with end zones either end of the area. 2 x teams of 7 players & 2 floating players (S) who play for team in possession. Play 9 vs. 5 in middle area with 2 x players from one team in end zone. Team of 9 keep possession in middle zone. If team of 5 win possession they attempt to play quickly to end zone players and they enter the middle zone, whilst 2 players from opposition team drop into opposite end zone to create a 9 vs. 5.

This session develops players awareness during transitions. This small sided game challenges players to think about their movement during turnovers.
Instructions:
Two teams of 7 players with 2 x floaters (S) who play for team in possession. Each team must always have a player in attacking third. Team cannot attempt at goal until all players are in attacking third.
Coaching Points:
Counter attack - When in the transition to attack, movement and support around and away from the ball should be early as well as traveling or passing the ball forward to take advantage of an unbalanced opposition.
Early decision making - When regain possession, attackers should try to make decisions early to expose the space behind or to the side of an unbalanced defensive shape.
Create overloads - in middle/final third the attacking team should look to overload advanced areas as often and as soon as possible to take advantage of an unbalanced defense.

This Session Develops Players Awareness During Transitions. The Warm-Up Introduces The Themes for The rest of the Session.
Instructions:
Players pass the ball unopposed to team mates and when a player enters the end zone team mate on the ball must play the pass to end zone player quickly.
Coaching Points:
Play the ball forward - Whilst changing the tempo of the passes in the middle, players should look to hit the target player quickly once required with emphasis on the quality of the movement from the advanced player.
Support - To combined effectively, players should use third man runs to support the target player when the ball is travel.
Quality of the pass - Players should use a variety of passes at different lengths with and emphasis on the disguise, weight and accuracy.
Progressions:
When player receives the ball in the end zone a 3rd man runner enters the end zone quickly to combine.
When player receives the ball in the end zone, the ball must be transferred quickly to a player in opposite end zone and a 3rd man runner enters the 2nd end zone to combine.
