Football/Soccer Session (Academy Sessions): Nest taken

Develop physical literacy and close control

Organization:

1.- 20 x 20 yard area set up as shown

2.- 16 players (4 groups of 4) ser up as shown

3.- 16 + balls

Story / Description:

1.- All the eggs (balls) are centrally located in the nest (center of the area).

2.- The chickes (players) take turns to go to the nest and get one egg at the time

3.- The game finishes when all eggs has have been taken from the nest and the team with the most eggs wins

Coaching Points:

1.- Grab the eggs quickly and get back to your team

2.- Keeps the eggs close to you

Progressions:

1.- Once all the eggs have been taken from the nest, players can then take the eggs from each other
