Organization:
1. 20 x 20 yard area set up as shown
2.1 ball per player
Instructions:
1. Coach introduces each turn to group through demonstration (pull back, L-turn, cryuff, inside/outside cuts)
2. Coach then assigns each turn a number 1-5
3. Coach asks his players to dribble and execute a turn when number is called.
4. If wrong turn is executed or turn is executed too slow player has to do toe taps/jumping jacks
5. Play for a set time, player with the least mistakes made is the Turning Champ
Coaching Points:
1.Change of speed
2.Change of direction
3. Acceleration after Turn
Progressions:
1. Coach calls 2 numbers for a combination of turns.
2. Change the numbers for different turns or add more numbers to incorporate ball mastery techniques example Boxes/penguins

Organization:
1.10 x 10 yard area set up as shown
2.2 players (1 Attacker,1 Defender) set up as shown
3.1 ball (Additional around the outside)
Instructions:
1.The attacker starts at one cone and attempts to score by hitting one of the other open cones
2.The defender can tackle on the attackers first touch
3.If the defender wins the ball the game then starts again
4.Play for a set amount of attacks then rotate players
Coaching Points:
1.Appropriate turn to protect or change direction
2.Bend the knees to create a platform to accelerate
3.Use the upper body to add disguise
4.Turn into space
5.Take away with the nearest surface
Progressions:
P – Game now starts with a pass made from the defending player
R – Increase the distance of each triangle to 15 x 15 to create more space to turn into and attack
R – Defending players must mark attacking space and can not tackle

Instructions:
1.Attackers score by not letting the defender hit their ball with their ball
2.Defenders score by hitting the attackers ball or if the attacker dribbles out of the area
3.Defenders have the ball in hand and attackers have to dribble
4.Play for a set time limit then check the scores
5.Rotate players so that they play against different players
Coaching Points:
1.Change of speed
2.Change of direction
3.Experiment with different turns as you attempt to lose your partner
Progressions:
P – Both players now have the ball on the ground and the object is to hit the ball with a pass
R – Increase the area size so that players have more space to turn into
