Organization:
-6-10 players

-area of approx. 20x20m split into 2 corridors
Activity
Players pass to attacker in the corridor, who performs a turn to score in the small goal. Passer then becomes attacker and attacker joins line.
Progressions/Variations
1. Defender is introduced who can attempt to tackle the attacker. Defender starts at the goal and can move on attackers first touch. Player who attacks becomes the next defender, defender joins the back of the line.
2. Defender starts at the cones halfway and can move on attackers first touch.

-Body shape to receive/turn
-Awareness of ball, space, and defender
-Movements to create space
-Accelerate away once turn has been performed

Activity
1v1 game encouraging quick reactions, shielding and turning with the ball. Play starts with coach passing the ball out into the area. That is the trigger for the two players to run after it, they then play 1v1 to either goal.

-can you react quickly and beat your opponent to the ball?
-can you use your body to shield and turn away from the opponent?
-can you accelerate and quickly get to the goal?

-Players attempt to steal their partners tail (pinnie tucked in back of shorts).
-If a tail is pulled, player gets a point.
-After each points scored, players slap hands to restart game
-Play for 30 seconds-1 minute
-Switch partners every few minutes
