Set up as shown..... 2 teams of 5, 1 player in each wide channel, 2 'floaters'.
Both teams set up in a 2,2,1 formation, and to start with , the players are restricted to their zones ( signalled by green pitch line ) .
The 2 floaters can support the team in possession anywhere, to create overloads, and the two wide men can use the whole length of pitch to create overloads also.
Develop session by allowing players to ' break out ' of zones to support attack.
Talk to the players about when and how to create attacking overloads - decisions.
Speed of support - counter attacking.
Utilising overload - sometimes just keep possession.
Penetration of attack / 'killer passes'.
Wide men and floaters must stay alert and always be available.
ALL players must be available to receive- Options!
