Here the focus is on maintaining possession until a good opportunity to break the defensive lines is on. The midfield three focus on maintaining possession against an opposition 2 and look to feed passes into the forwards who should look for good movement to find passing angles. The Left Back and Right Back should look to break over the halfway line as fast as possible. The midfield three cannot pass to them until they are over the halfway line. When the ball has come outside the square two of the midfielders can look to break into the box as well and the defenders can recover.

Player 1 Drives in with the ball at the two defenders and looks to get a shot off. When this ball goes dead then another ball is sprayed out to the left or right for the full back to take a touch and cross the ball in for the attacker to try and win. The opposite Full back can be encouraged to go and win the ball in this scenario. When that ball goes dead then the first attacker will receive a ball from one of the players behind him and the player that passed the ball in will join in the attack to make it a 2 v 2. When the ball is dead the play continues with the ball spread out to one of the full backs again. This whole process continues up until a 4 v 2.
