1v1 with pressure from behind. 15 mins.
defender rolls the ball from behind the attacker into anywhere inside the box. The attacker has to turn and dribble into any of the gates.
progress by adding a samba goal. After this add 1 bounce player to practice receiving on the turn.
Coaching points- scanning, disguise, protecting the ball, creating space for themselves.

3v3 on 1 pitch with a 2v2 with floater on the other. 1 ladder at each end and if a player scores they move a cone 1 up a ladder gap. To progress let goalscorers try and hit the crossbar for a bonus 3 spaces. 15 mins
Coaching points. Demand effort and work rate to win possession of the ball. Promote scoring early and being confident to shoot. Introduce and improve the volume of communication on the pitch.

7v7 for last 30 mins. Coach to join in and coach players as they play. Again promote communication in the game. Ensure effort is maintained and if players are caught not tracking back or not giving 100% then stop the game and make players run.
